4. Determine where you will mount the E34 measurement unit. The preferred location is inside the enclosure of the panelboard
being monitored. If sufficient space is not available there, mount the unit in an appropriate enclosure nearby. Decide whether
to mount the E34 vertically or horizontally.
The E34 is shipped with the brackets placed on the two sides for vertical mounting. If desired, you can move the brackets
from the sides to the ends of the housing. Loosen the screws on the sides of the E34 that hold the brackets in place. Do not
fully remove the screws from the E34 housing. Loosen the screws on the two ends of the housing (without fully removing the
screws from the housing), and set the brackets into their new positions. Tighten all screws.

5. On E34A28 or E34E28 models, connect the 28-meter adapter assembly to the meter using the ribbon cables supplied. To order
different length cables, see the list of Recommended Accessories.
6. The E34 supports CTs with voltage mode outputs (0.333V full-scale). Install the current sensors onto the conductors to be
monitored according to the instructions provided with the CTs.
