7.2.1.5 Main Menu
It mainly inclues the following function modules:

Battery health test

This function helps analyze the health status of the car battery,
calculate the actual cold cranking capability of the battery, determine
the aging degree of the battery, providing a reliable analysis basis for
the test and maintenance of the battery. When the battery gets aged, it
provides the ability to notify the user to replace battery.
Start system test
This function is desgined to test and analyze the starting motor, detect
the actual starting current and starting voltage of the starting motor,
further determining whether the starting motor is normal.
Charging health test
This function mainly detects and analyzes the vehicle charging
system, including generators, rectifi ers, rectifi er diodes, etc. Through
this test, it can be known whether the generator output voltage is
normal, whether the rectifi er diode is normal, and whether the charging

current is normal.
Generate report
This option is used to save the reports after the battery health test,
start system test and the charging health test are successfully
performed.
Historical report
Manages the saved reports.

7.2.2 Battery Health Test
The battery health test is mainly to analyze the health status of the
battery, calculate the actual cold cranking capability of the battery and
the aging degree of the battery, which provides reliable analysis basis
for the test and maintenance of the battery. When the battery is aging,
the owner can be informed to replace the battery in advance.
Follow the steps below to proceed:
1. Tap "Battery Health Test" on the main menu screen.
*Note: For getting accurate test result, please turn off all electrical
components, including lights, radio and A/C etc. and pull out the vehicle
start key before performing this test.
2. Select the correct battery type according to the battery name plate.
