ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS
GeNerAL
the Mt-75/Mt-150 stands are designed to provide maximum flexibility for
positioning a manipulator or other components in an experimental setup. the
stands are shipped partially assembled.
You will need to complete the assembly by mounting the base plate and dovetail
to the column with the hardware and allen wrenches provided. please refer to
Fig. 1 below while assembling your stand. these instructions will also apply when
attaching a linear slide to the existing Mt-75/Mt-150 series stand.

Step 1
Attach the column to the baseplate
using (4) 5/16 allen head screws from
the hardware packet. the column can
be centered or mounted flush with one
side of the baseplate.
Step 3
Adjust the height by loosening the
brakeshoe with the two wing nut
screws. Lift post to the desired height,
then tighten post wing nut screws. it is
advisable to keep at least 1 inch of the
post within the column.

Step 2
Loosen the clamp screws to allow
the dovetail to slide into the saddle.
Slide dovetail into desired position and
tighten the screws.
Step 4
the gantry stop can be used as a home
position. place dovetail in the desired
orientation, then spin the collar around
until the screw is against the gantry
stop. tighten collar screw. if a full 360
degree rotation is desired, then remove
the collar screw.
