6.3 Tires

Though the tire pressure is factory-set to the prescribed
level, it naturally drops slowly in the course of time.
Thus, check it everyday and inflate as necessary.
Check and retighten as instructed on page 17
Do not use tires larger than specified
Do not attempt to mount a tire. This
should be done by a qualified person
WARNING
with the proper equipment. Qualified
persons with the proper tire mounting
equipment should recognize the fol-
lowing warning.
Never exceed 241 kPa (35 psi) when
attempting to seat a bead. If beads
have not been seated by the time the
WARNING
pressure reaches 241 kPa (35 psi),
deflate the assembly, reposition the
tire on the rim, reduplicate and rein-
flate. After seating the bead, adjust in-
flation pressure as recommended in
the inflation pressure chart.

6.4 Ballast

Selecting Front Ballast.
Add weight to front end if needed for stability. Heavy
pulling and heavy rear mounted implements tend to
lift front wheels. Add enough ballast to maintain steer-
ing control and prevent tip over. Remove weight where
it is no longer needed. Front weights are available from
your KIOTI Dealer. Your dealer can help you decide
how much is required for your particular application.
NOTE :
Additional ballast may be needed for transporting
heavy integral implements. When implement is
raised, drive slowly over rough ground, regardless
of how much ballast is used.
