Insert the battery with the metal battery terminals inserted first towards the main module.

Replace the battery compartment cover.
Replacing the case gasket

Open the case. See page 24.

Disconnect the FFC from the main module. See Using flat flexible circuit (FFC) cables and
connectors on page 23.

Using your fingers, gently peel away the case gasket from the bottom case. Be careful not to
damage the mating surfaces of the case. Do not use a knife to remove the gasket as it may
damage the case, even a small cut can create sealing problems.

Ensure the case gasket groove is clean.
