Tube Spin O-Ring

The tube spin motor spins the tube holder in front of the barcode reader. The o-ring
on the drive wheel should be replaced periodically as a part of the regular
preventative maintenance.
1. Remove the base cover on the underside of the Carousel by removing the four
M3 screws.
2. Remove the drive wheel from the tube spin motor by loosening the grub screw in
the drive wheel hub and sliding off the motor shaft.
3. Replace the O-Ring.
4. Refit the drive wheel in the same orientation and tighten the grub screw.
5. The drive wheel position set-screw can be adjusted to move the drive wheel
closer to or further from the motor. The wheel should make light contact with
the spin plate under each tube holder. The wheel should never touch the
Carousel body.
6. Refit the base cover.
