PathFinder 350S GUI

The procedures given in this Service Manual assume a basic level of competence in
navigating and using Windows XP as well as the PathFinder Graphical User Interface
(GUI).
The GUI is described in detail in the PathFinder 350S User Manual (PS-U-UM002).
This Section provides a brief review of some important aspects of navigating around
the GUI as well as switching between Windows and the GUI.
3.7.1

The Graphical User Interface (GUI)

The GUI is displayed on the LCD Touchscreen Monitor mounted on the front of the
Sorter. Navigating the GUI is via the page buttons located at the top of the screen.
Pages can be displayed at any time without interrupting the work of the Sorter.
There are two access levels for the GUI,



Operator. Operators can start and stop the PathFinder 350S, including a
system reset. It displays all status information about the system and allows
access to tube lookups and log views.

Administrator. Administrators have all the same access as Operators but in
addition can access system configuration and reports.
