Assembling duct to heater

1. Fold up the tabs located on the take off ﬂ ange.

2. Guardian 60: Position the ﬂ ange so its two larger holes are located over the two screws used to mount

the heater's control box. Drill six 1/8 in. holes at ﬂ ange holes, top, bottom, and sides of ﬂ ange. Secure the

ﬂ ange to the heater using quantity 6 item F screws. See Fig. 7. Tighten all securely.

Guardian 100: Remove the 4 blower outlet screws. Lay the ﬂ ange over these holes and reinstall the four

screws. Also drill two 1/8 in. holes (one at top, one at bottom) at dimples and install quantity 2 item F screws.

See Fig. 8. Tighten all securely.
