Assembling baﬄ e and bird screen to heater

1. Working from the gas inlet end of the heater, remove the screws on both sides that secure the case to the

heater's base.

Guardian 60: 3 screws

Guardian 100: 4 screws. (shown-Fig. 12)

2. Install the bafﬂ e to the heater base using the screws removed in step 1. See Fig. 12. Ensure the bafﬂ e is

located between the inside of the access door and the heater case at the gas inlet end of the heater. See Fig.

13. This allows opening of the door for service or maintenance. Tighten all screws securely.
