Notes on the use of this manual

This manual contains specific information on fitting, installing,
commissioning, servicing, converting and cleaning the CDVI.
The manual describes only the following pneumatic compo
nents:
two 3/2−way valves (single−solenoid) per valve housing
3/2−way valves (single), with external pressure supply
5/2−way valves (single and double−solenoid)
5/3−way mid−position valves
manifold block
extension block with 2 valve locations
extension block with 2 valve locations and additional
supply connections
separator plates without channel separation or separator
plates with channel separation for forming 2 or 3 pressure
zones
right−hand end plates for internal or external pilot air
left−hand end plate, on the CDVI−MP with internal multipin
connection.
Technical specifications for the above−named components can
be found in the appendix.
Notes on the electrical installation of the CDVI with multipin
connection can be found in the brief description of this valve
terminal.
Notes on the electrical installation of the CDVI with field bus
