Import of REGARD System configuration:
The Dräger RVP 5000 needs a configuration file for the proper
presentation of the data shown in the system. This file has to
be created by the DrägerService
root directory of the CompactFlash memory card of the panels.
Any changes on the REGARD system means that the
configuration file has to be renewed to ensure a correct
function of the RVP 5000.
For importing this file you first have to enter the name of the
data including the end "csv". Then the data will be loaded by
pressing "Import-Conf" button.
Once completed the number of channels loaded are shown
within the banner.
To import a configuration file into the Dräger RVP 5000 the
following steps are to be observed (new or changed
configuration file): After import of a configuration the Dräger
RVP 5000 needs 5 minutes to initialise the new data. During
this time, the unit must remain powered. If the unit has been
separated during that time the configuration has to be reloaded
again.

Setting of the Modbus card (optional):

Modbus card can be adjusted (optional).
The REGARD systems have a standard Modbus card with the
Version 1.9. For NON-ATEX systems an optional Modbus card

This Version allows resetting of REGARD systems alarms via
the acknowledgment function. When setting the Version 2.0, it
appears in the channel overview and trend representation with

Datalogger

Touch on the "Datalogger" button in the Setup menu to reach
the datalogger. It is possible to choose from 4 intervals (5 sec.,
30 sec., 60 sec. and 180 sec.).
All the enabled channels are saved in all the intervals. The
channels are in continuous blocks of 10 channels as a file
stored on the CompactFlash card.
The recording duration is set to 31 days and is saved in the
"Logs" directory of the CompactFlash memory card. After 31
days, the saved data is overwritten according to the "first in first
out" principle.
Event files are also created and saved in the "Event" directory.
A file is created only if an event occurs.
Example of an event file:
Date
Time
Type Description
controller name/channel /day name
26.06.09 08:27:4 Alarm
/status report
controller name/channel/day name
26.06.09 08:27:4 Alarm
/status report
controller name/channel/day name
26.06.09 08:27:4 Alarm
/status report
Day files are usually generated and these are then named in
date format. Each file contains up to 10 channels. Example:
10021900.csv. The first two digits represent the year, which is
then followed by the month and the day.
The data is read off by changing the CompactFlash memory
card or by a direct USB connection. With a USB connection,
the Dräger RVP 5000 behaves like a card reader and is
detected by the PC as an additional drive (you must have
installed a driver). It is possible to transfer the data using the
optional web server function. The Dräger RVP 5000 must be
integrated in a network to do this. It is then possible to remotely
access the Dräger RVP 5000 via Microsoft
and then download the data.
