5.2.1 Address of the Control Word and the Status Word
Note
The addresses for the control word and status word of the IP 265 are slot-dependent in
the CPU user program.
The address of the status word or control word always corresponds to the starting address of the
module slot. For the starting addresses of the possible slots for the IP 265, see Table 5-4.
Example: Determine actual address of the status word
You want to evaluate the status word in the CPU user program. You have plugged the
IP 265 into slot 3. Consequently, the starting address of the slot (module address) is
88.
