10 Gb/s Loopback Connections (J2127A Only)
2 Press <Menu>, choose Tx/Rx > Transmitter Settings then
press <Select>. Select the Physical tab. Select the Laser On
checkbox (a tick appears in the box). The displayed
Transmitter Settings should be similar to example below.
Note Signal rate may show either (OC-192 or STM-64)
depending on instrument System preferences.
Check the laser LED is illuminated at the 10 Gb/s Output
Port on the Transmission Test Set's connector panel.
Installation (Getting Started)
15 dB Optical Attenuator to
ensure level is within
Receiver Input Range.
Note - For option 120
interface ONLY, no
attenuator is required.
