Menu Operation

Confirming Information

You can confirm the IP address and the total number of
prints made since you started the unit.

Press the MENU button to bring up the menu screen.

Press the F or f button to move the cursor to
"Information," and then press the g button.
The IP address of the unit and the total number of
prints since starting to use the unit are shown.
Press the MENU button to close the menu screen and
return to the standard screen.

The IP address setting cannot be changed here. To
change the IP address, use the System Settings menu.
For details, refer to "Setup" described in the "Setup
Manual" section of this document.
The total number of prints since starting to use the unit
is useful to estimate when regular maintenance such
as replacing the cleaning roller, cleaning the thermal
head, etc. is necessary. For details, see "Maintenance"
(on page 40).

Adjusting the Print Quality

You can adjust the following items for each gamma curve.
The adjusted settings are stored for each blue thermal film
gamma curve.
• Sharpness of the printout
You can adjust the sharpness among 17 levels between 1
and 16, including OFF.
• Tone of printouts
You can adjust the high tone (dark area of the images)
and the low tone (light areas of images).
Notes
• You cannot adjust the gamma curve itself using the
menu. To change the gamma curve, contact your Sony
dealer.
• To make a printout of the pattern print to be used for
adjusting the tone of printouts in this section correctly,
be sure to perform the full range calibration for each type
of blue thermal film before starting the adjustments
described here.
