ADF flatbed assembly and Scanner lid removal
1.
Remove the following:
a.
Right side cover. See
b.
System board shield. See
c.
Scanner unit. See
2.
Unroute the cables through the bottom of the scanner unit.
Note: Pay attention to the cable routing for reinstallation.
3.
Disconnect the scanner hinges to separate the ADF flatbed assembly and the scanner lid.
•
Flex the right scanner hinges inward.

Note: The spring easily gets lost.
