6.4 CONNECTING THE SENSOR
6.4.1 Safety Information
WARNING!
Ensure the cabling is not connected to the control unit power during wiring.
WARNING! – ELECTRIC SHOCK
Ensure that only the cables types specified are used for powering and interconnection of equipment.
6.4.2 Sensor Connections
Refer to Figure 5 below for the location of the terminals. After mounting the sensor to the stack or duct, make the
power and communications connections as described in this section.

6.4.3 Sensor Cable Connection
WARNING!
Ensure the cabling is not connected to the control unit power during wiring.
Referring to Figure 5, connect the control unit (which supplies 24 V DC power to the sensor) by routing the four-core
data cable from the control unit through the cable gland nearest the SENSOR IN terminal.
NOTE: Ensure the cable has sufficient slack so that the sensor can be removed easily and placed on the platform
without disconnecting.
