GUIDANCE AND STEERING INSTALLATION GUIDE
This quick guide provides the installation instructions for the RS1™ on an ISO Rogator or TerraGator C series
machine. For calibration and operation information, refer to the Operation Manual (P/N 016-4010-001).

WHEEL ANGLE SENSOR AND VALVE CALIBRATION

To ensure proper operation, calibrate the Wheel Angle Sensor (WAS) and Steering Valve before calibrating RS1.
IMPORTANT:
Ensure the machine's hydraulic oil is warm prior to the steering valve calibration sequence.
1. Press Home on the joystick.

2. Select the Machine icon
3. Select Home Settings
4. Select Maintenance and Diagnostics
5. Select Steering Calibrations
6. Select Steering Angle Sensor Calibration
7. Press Accept

NOTE:
At any point press
8. While moving slowly, turn the machine steering wheel all the way to the left.
9. Press Accept

10. While moving slowly, turn the machine steering wheel all the way to the right.

  • Page 3 Rubber Washer Latch Nut 3. Mount the RS1 base plate to the RS1 unit using the four bolts provided. It should be mounted so the mounting tabs are to the right and the latch is to the left. Manual No. 016-5033-155 Rev C2. E32620 5/19...
  • Page 4 Latch Bracket 5. Place the RS1 unit roof bracket on the cab with it oriented as shown in Figure 7 on page 5. The holes on the corners of the roof bracket will line up with existing cab top mounting holes.

  • Page 6 Mating Connector on Roof 11. If applicable, connect the cellular antenna to the back of the RS1 unit and secure the antenna to the roof bracket using the magnet attached to the antenna. VIPER 4 AND VIPER 4+ ISO CONNECTION.

  • Page 8 OPERATION Refer to the RS1 Calibration and Operation Manual (P/N 016-4010-001) for instructions on configuring, calibrating, and operating RS1. Please note the location of the master switch and the resume switch on the machine because they are needed for operation.
