Servicing the V-belt

Protective equipment:
1. Park the machine safely
in secured condition' on page 57.
2. Allow the engine to cool down.
3. Unscrew the V-belt guard (1).

4. Check condition and tension of V-belt.
ð Compression measurement: 5 - 15 mm (0.2 - 0.6 in).

Replace the V-belt if it is damaged or if the compression
measurement is exceeded
