Air Filter Cleaning

Removal

1.
Loosen the screw securing the air filter to the intake manifold and remove the air filter.

Using compressed air can cause serious injury. Always wear eye protection when working with compressed air to prevent
injury from ruptured hoses or flying debris.
2.
Use compressed air to blow out the filter from the inside towards the outside. Do not exceed the air pressure specification.

Air Filter Cleaning

Maximum air pressure
IMPORTANT: Do not use petroleum products for cleaning the air filter as the filter element may be damaged.
3.
For cleaning the air filter, purchase K&N® filter recharging kit 99‑5050. Follow the procedures contained in the recharging
kit.

Installation

1.
Install the air filter onto the intake manifold.
