CHAPTER 6 RCI Commands

This chapter describes RCI commands.
6.1

Overview

The Remote Cabinet Interface (RCI) connects the main unit to the I/O units, and
makes the I/O power supply becomes a slave to the main unit power supply. The RCI
also notifies the main unit of any errors that occur in I/O units.
RCI commands display RCI configuration information and set node addresses.
When adding an RCI port equipped I/O device, connect the device using the supplied
RCI cable, then perform set-up using the RCI commands.

Table 6.1 List of commands

This command displays the RCI configuration information. Use this
command to check that the host and I/O are correctly set after making the
RCI setting.
This command enters the RCI configuration information when the RCI
connections of the I/O devices are initially made.
This command sets and incorporates the RCI configuration information
when adding or deleting nodes.
