Note:
To improve the reliability of the redundant configuration, connect each
power cable to a separate output group (two outlets for one cicuit breaker).
Do not connect any other peripheral device to the other outlets not being
used in each output group.

(5) Dual power feed (for 200 VAC)
As an option, the main unit can support the use of dual power supplies. Because
power is supplied by two different power systems, processing can continue even if
service is interrupted in one of the power supply systems.
4A dual power supply can be configured for a 200 VAC power supply system, but
cannot be configured for a 100 VAC power supply system. Use of a dual power
supply requires ordering and installing the dual power feed option. Otherwise,
simply connecting power cables to different power systems will not enable the
use of a dual power supply for the server. The dual power feed option is usually
installed when the server is shipped from the factory. Therefore, order the dual
power feed option at the same time the main unit is ordered. A certified service
engineer must handle the on-site installation of the dual power feed option after
installing the main unit. Therefore, consult Fujitsu/Fujitsu Siemens Computers
personnel separately for such installation.
4The power distribution box is an optional product. If the power cables must be
connected to a power distribution box, one must be purchased separately.
