Names and Functions of PCIBOX Components
This section identifies and describes the functions of the components mounted on the
back of this unit.
(1) AC power input (PSU)
(5) ALARM LED (Amber)
(6) READY LED (Green)
(7) LCI port
(1) AC power input (PSU)
Connect the power cables to these points.
(2) PCI slot (label: 0, 1, 2, ...11 starting at the right)
l These slots conform to the PCI local bus specifications (Rev. 2.1).
l These slots support bus width of 64 bits and frequencies of 33 MHz (5.0 V) and 33/
66 MHz (3.3 V).
l Twelve slots are provided for short cards. Four of the twelve slots can be used for
long cards.
(3) Hot maintenance switch
Use this switch for hot system maintenance.
