WARNING DEVICE LAL-SRW
Operation
Check of alarm situation
Immerse the sensor in liquid (switch point must be immersed).
The red "OVERFLOW ALARM" LED lights and, if applicable, an acoustic
signal sounds.
Sludge level sensor
Test mode with connection of supply voltage
If the supply voltage is connected, the sensor is run for the first 10 minutes
automatically in test mode.
After the sensor has been in test mode for 10 minutes, it is run automatically in
normal mode and the regular monitoring periods are observed.
Test mode with check and positioning of the sensor.
Run the sensor in test mode.
1. Interrupt the supply voltage to the warning device.
The sensor switches to test mode.
2. Lower the sensor into the sludge.
The sensor switches in the alarm state.
The red "SLUDGE ALARM" LED lights and, if applicable, an acoustic signal
sounds.
Note!
Note that after a power supply failure, alarms can be occurred at short intervals
within the first 10 minutes.
Sensor in normal mode
Normal state:
In normal operation, the sensor must be immersed for at least 10 minutes in
water without a break.
The green "SYSTEM OK" LED lights up or flashes at the warning device.
Alarm state
In alarm state, the sensor must either be covered by sludge without a break
for at least 10 minutes or be suspended freely in midair.
