3.3 HOEING UNIT

In order to ensure a correct depth, a few simple adjustments should
be made to the hoeing unit.
Switch off the tractor and remove the ignition key.
- Adjust the work depth by changing the height of the front wheels
(1, Fig. 14) using the crank (2). A numbered scale (3) enables all
of the parts to be adjusted to the same degree.
The parallelogram unit allows the weeding also on uneven soil
surface with a constant working depht. Working depth is regulated
by the unit wheel (1, Fig. 14).
Before working with this piece of equipment, lift the support feet (3,
Fig. 3) and make sure all weeding-related parts have the pin (1) in
the lower hole of the lever (2) as shown in Figure 11.
To disable the weeding action of a part, raise the latter and hook
its pin (1) into the center hole (Fig. 12).
When the equipment is to be left parked, set the support feet and
position the pin (1) of the central part in the upper hole of the lever
as shown in Figure 13.
