Connecting System Components

To connect the components of your MicroVAX 3100 Model 88 and Model 98 System,
follow this procedure:

Connecting the Console Terminal

To connect the console terminal, refer to Figure 2-7 and follow these steps:
1. Connect one end of the terminal cable to the modified modular jack (MMJ) port on
the rear of the system.
2. Connect the other end of the cable to the MMJ port on the console terminal itself.
3. Connect the terminal power cord to the terminal and an isolated, grounded circuit.
