To configure Duress Alarm, do the following:
1. Check the Duress Alarm transmission to enable a Duress Alarm on the
MT8001.
2. Modify the Duress events suppression time, if desired.
3. Drag and drop the appropriate node from the Composer tree to the Approvals-1
tab window (see Fig. 38).
Note: Typically, the node will be a point on an intrusion panel.
4. In the Drop Point dialog box, do the following:
a. Choose a property from the Property drop-down list.
b. Choose a command from the Command drop-down list.
c. Change the timeout (command feedback), if desired.
5. Select Add.
Note: To update the list in the Drag and Drop window, select the node, and then
select Change or Remove.
Configuration options
Enable user confirmation dialog box
Enable confirmation message dialog box
Time before the Event List display returns to the
filter for the most severe open event category.
Default: 20 seconds
