While entering Setup, the BIOS automatically detects the presence of SATA
devices. The SATA Port items show Empty if no SATA device is installed to the
corresponding SATA port.

SATA Mode Selection [AHCI]
Allows you to set the working mode of the SATA controller. Configuration options:
[AHCI] [Intel RST Premium with Intel Optane System Acceleration]

These items allow you to enable/disable the SATA or M.2 port(s). Configuration

Hot Plug [Disabled]
These items allow you to enable/disable SATA Hot Plug Support. Configuration

When disabled, you are not able to access the MEBx setup. Configuration options:
