Note: In order to select multiple units, keep the CTRL key pressed while you
make your selections.
3. Click the Download Configuration button.
To ensure that download completed successfully, verify that the Cfg
Downloaded checkbox contains X. The box is automatically unchecked after
any subsequent modification to remind you that a further download is required.
After the download, the NK8237 unit stops and then reboots. The restarting phase
is monitored by the Composer tool.
Controlling and checking NK82xx status
In Composer, the Tools tab associated to the NK8237 node provides you with
some control commands and screen status reports of the unit. It allows for:
 Commanding a remote reset of NK8237 (that will disconnect the unit for about
one minute).
 Setting date and time in the NK8237.
 Reading a complete status report, which includes:
 Firmware version (available on the PC and actually installed on NK8237).
 Product Identifier (ID): NK8237.
 Hardware configuration: 2 serial ports.
 Factory Release Date (when the product burned-in)
 Free RAM available
 Kernel Version
 EEprom information: event logging and counters
 Diagnostic message logging
 Getting the NK8237 status (point values).
