2 - TROUBLESHOOTING

Possible symptoms
No wire feed and wire retraction
Red led lit up on cycle board
Green led switched off on cycle
board
High instability during welding
Defective flux supply.
SUBARC 5 - DX7
Probable causes
Power supply fault
Mechanical blocking.
Belt cut.
Motor breakdown
Breakdown of the variable
speed unit.
No manual and auto cycle.
Defective wire drive.
Power source fault
Current supply fault.
Flux too dirty.
Flux supply pipe clogged.
Flux solenoid valve not
controlled
Possible remedies
Check fuse supply.
Fu 1-2-3-4
Check wire supply.
Change the belt
Test the motor
Check the brushes.
Check the variable speed unit, its
connections and its supply, and change it
if necessary.
Switch off the power supply and switch
on again.
If the led remains lit up, change the
board.
Check the power supply of the board.
Check the fuses : Fu 5-6
Tighten the rollers.
Check wire supply
See power source instructions
Check power cables.
Change the flux.
Disassemble and clean the flux supply.
Check the power supply of the valve
