Before removing the system board covers, follow these steps:

Prepare the computer for disassembly

Remove the system board covers:
1. Memory cover: Remove the conductive tape from on top of the memory cover (1).
2. Lift the cover off the system board (2).
TIP:
The cover is held in place by small clips on the system board. Be sure to insert the edges of the
cover into the clips when installing the cover.
3. MOS cover: Lift the cover off the system board (1)
