Printing onto Envelopes

Carefully open the external tray.

Press the [Ppr.Type] key.

Select [Special] with the [→] or
{}} key.

Press the [OK] key.

Place the envelopes in the exter-
nal tray as shown in the illustra-
tion.

Note
When you use envelopes, the
external tray capacity is about
150 sheets (85g/m
enough to load a stack up to
105mm, 4.1" high.

If your envelopes do not feed in
well, lift the paper feed tray a lit-
tle then lower it so that it slants
up slightly.

Preparation
To use this function, you have to
register the special paper type in
[User1] or [User2] with the user
tools. See ⇒ P.168 "4-19 Type of Pa-
per".
