Operation

Paper Delivery Tray Position

For standard paper sizes, the machine
automatically adjusts the paper deliv-

ery tray position to suit the size of
prints.
However, before printing onto cus-
tom size paper you need to select the
position manually using the proce-
dure below.
If you frequently use certain custom
paper sizes, you can register up to 5
sizes beforehand and recall them
whenever you wish. See ⇒ P.29 "Reg-
istering a Custom Position" and ⇒ P.30
"Recalling a Custom Position".
Note
Registered paper sizes are not de-
leted even if the main switch is
turned off or the {Clear Modes/Ener-
gy Saver} key is pressed.
You cannot modify registered cus-
tom paper sizes. To modify a regis-
tered size, register it again.
By default the Auto Delivery Ad-
just function is turned on (the Auto
Delivery Adjust indicator is lit).
If you specify a paper size smaller
than the actual size of the paper, a
paper misfeed will occur.

Press the {Auto Delivery Adjust}
key.
Note
Make sure the Auto Delivery
Adjust indicator turns off.

Select the paper length with {|}
{{} , and the width with {~} {}}.
