4. Remove capillary guard (15) inside of
cooking well.
5. Remove basket guides (16) inside of
cooking well.
6. With a dull tool such as a crescent
wrench handle, pry top heating ele-
ment inward far enough to slide
bracket (17) away from temperature
sensor probe (14). Note where probe
bracket is located. Placement is
important.
7. Remove small nut (18).
8. Remove reducer fitting (19) from out-
side of the cooking well.
9. It may be necessary to move top heat-
ing element up or down slightly to get
temperature sensor probe out from
behind element.
10. Carefully pull probe out of cooking well.
11. Install new probe in the same location
as old probe. Relocate probe bracket.
12. Use teflon tape on reducer fitting and
tighten securely. Tighten smaller nut.
13. Reconnect red and yellow wires.
