2 Connection of ECU coupler.
Check the locking condition of
the coupler.
Disconnect the coupler and
check the pins (bent or broken
terminals and locking condition
of the pins).
3 Wire harness continuity.

1. Intake air pressure sensor 1
2. ECU
3. Sensor input lead
4. Sensor output lead
5. Sensor ground lead
3-2 Disconnect the ECU coupler from the ECU.
Disconnect the intake air pressure sensor 1 coupler from the intake air pressure sensor 1.
3-3 [For P0107] Ground short circuit
Between intake air pressure sensor 1 coupler and ground: pink–ground
If there is continuity, replace the wire harness.
P0107, P0108
[P0107] Intake air pressure sensor 1: ground short circuit detected.
[P0108] Intake air pressure sensor 1: open or power short circuit
detected.
Improperly connected  Con-
nect the coupler securely or
replace the wire harness.
Open or short circuit  Replace
the wire harness.

Turn the main switch to "ON",
and then check the condition of
the fault code using the mal-
function mode of the Yamaha
diagnostic tool.
Condition is "Recovered"  Go
to item 7 and finish the service.
Condition is "Detected"  Go to
item 3.
