Cutting of soft steel studs

BATTERY REMOVAL/INSTALLATION

1. Battery removal
Firmly support the power tool and remove the
battery while pushing the latch of the battery with
your thumb (Fig. 1).
CAUTION
Never short-circuit the battery.
Support the battery with your palm so that it does
not fall down.
2. Battery installation
Insert the battery while observing its polarities (see
Fig. 1)

CHARGING
Before using the power tool, charge the battery as follows.
1. Connect the charger's power cord to a receptacle.
When the power cord is connected, the charger's
pilot lamp will blink in red. (At 1-second intervals).
2. Insert the battery into the charger.
Position the battery so that the nameplate faces
toward the caution plate of the charger and push
in the battery until it contacts the bottom plate. (See
Figs. 2 and 3.)
