Speed Dial - Polycom SoundPoint IP 600 SIP User Manual

To send a text message to a contact from
the Contact Directory menu:
1. Press the More soft key and then press
InstMsg.

Speed Dial

Pre-assigned numbers can be associated
with line keys for rapid automated dialing.
Speed Dial entries are consecutively placed
next to assigned line keys on the telephone.
Example: To assign Jane to a Speed Dial
key:
1. Press
Directories Conference
Directory.
Services
2. Press the Add soft key to enter Jane's
contact details (see previous section)
Call Lists
or highlight Jane's existing directory
entry and press Edit.
Buddy Status
3. Enter Speed Dial Index as "1". This
assigns Jane to the first available line
My Status
key on the display.
4. Press Save to confirm or Cancel to
Redial
abandon the change then press Exit to
return to the idle display.
Idle display is now as shown:

On a default configuration of the telephone,

there could be up to five line keys available for

speed dial.

To quickly view a complete list of assigned

speed dial entries, press

display. Dial directly from a selected

2. Scroll to the desired entry and press
Edit.

3. Delete the Speed Dial Index number
