Checking the package contents

Check the package contents for visible signs of transport damage and for completeness.
NOTICE
Do not install parts that have been damaged during shipment. In the case of damaged
parts, contact your Siemens representative.
Keep the supplied documentation in a safe place. The documentation belongs to the
Industrial USB Hub 4 and is required for subsequent commissioning.
4.2

Installation of Industrial USB Hub 4

Requirement
All packaging and protective foil has been removed from the Industrial USB Hub 4.
Procedure - installation with mounting clamps
The mounting clamps supplied as accessories are used for the installation of the
Industrial USB Hub 4. Ensure that the mounting seal is attached to the device. If the
mounting seal is damaged, order a replacement seal. The mounting seal is part of the
associated service pack.
NOTICE
Install the Industrial USB Hub 4 according to the operating instructions in this manual.
Proceed as follows:
1. Check whether the mounting seal is attached to the Industrial USB Hub 4.
