  • Page 5 T-5924 GTWIN TELEPHONE DESCRIPTION OF THE TELEPHONE Function buttons: In standby and with the handset off the hook: it activates the intercom between 2 devices in the same apartment or in different apartments (this feature must be pre- programmed, see p. 11-14). During a call or communication process, it enables the secondary lock release to be activated: one press will activate the lock release for 1 second.

    T-5924 GTWIN TELEPHONE TELEPHONE SETTINGS S 1 DIP switch: DIP switch is located in the central part of the circuit, accessible by opening the telephone. It enables the telephone to be configured by assigning it a user code address (apartment). CODE: User code.

    T-5924 GTWIN TELEPHONE TELEPHONE SETTINGS SW2 DIP switch: DIP switch is located in the central part of the circuit, accessible by opening the telephone. It enables the telephone to be configured as master/slave. INT: Internal code of the telephone to set as master/slave. Set the monitor/telephone as master, slave 1, slave 2 or slave 3 using the SW2 DIP switch with a code from 0 to 3 respectively.

    T-5924 GTWIN TELEPHONE INSTALLING THE TELEPHONES Fixing the telephone to the wall: It is necessary to open the telephone for wiring and fixing purposes. To open the telephone, insert a flat screwdriver into the slots and gently pry open as shown in the drawing. Avoid dusty or smoky environments or locations near sources of heat.

While this operation is being carried out, the telephones in apartment B will ring. Ignore this call.

Press and hold the button for more than 5 seconds: It emits 3 short tones and the slow blinking of the status LED (yellow) confirms entry into programming mode.

Check the programmed function: lift the handset of the telephone (device C1) and press the programmed button. On the telephone (device C2), a ringtone will be heard, pick up the handset and check communication. If you also wish to programme the reverse call, it is necessary to programme the telephone (device C2) for the call to the telephone (device C1) in the same apartment.

    T-5924 GTWIN TELEPHONE OPTIONAL CONNECTIONS Button for receiving calls from the apartment front door: The T-5924 Gtwin telephone features as standard the ability to receive calls from the apartment front door. This feature precludes the need to use the bell by positioning a button between the 'CP' terminals of the telephone. The ringtones vary depending on where the call is being made from, enabling the user to identify its origin.

    T-5924 GTWIN TELEPHONE CLEANING THE TELEPHONE Do not use solvents, detergents or cleaning products that contain acids, vinegar or abrasive components. Use a soft damp lint-free cloth with water. Always wipe the telephone in the same direction, from top to bottom. After cleaning the telephone, remove any moisture with a soft dry lint-free cloth.
