• Be careful not to touch the hot metal parts of the iron.
• Carefully iron around the zippers and similar items to avoid scratching the base plate.
• Do not put iron on hard metal or hard surfaces.
• This device is not intended for use by persons who are physically, perceptually or
mentally incapacitated, and who have no experience or knowledge, provided that they
are not under the supervision of persons responsible for their safety or instructions for
use of the appliance are not provided (including children).
• Never leave the iron unattended while operating and never leave your appliance
unattended.
The children should be supervised to avoid them from playing with the appliance.
WARNING!
You should never direct the steam to the clothes on people and pets.
Do not use the appliance on your clothes you are currently wearing.

Suggestions before the first use

• Some pieces of iron are partially lubricated, so it may smell a bit when plugging in for
the first time. After a while the smoke will cease.
• Before using the iron for the first time, remove the plastic retainer on the base (if any)
with a soft cloth.
• Keep the base flat. Do not use on metal objects (such as metal plates, buttons,
zippers, etc.).

Unpacking

Unpack the appliance and before starting to use it check for damages
and malfunctions. If there is any malfunction or damage to the
equipment, do not use the appliance and get in contact with Fakir
Authorized Service.
