SETTING THE FRONT WHEEL TOE-IN
FRONT WHEEL TOE-IN AT NON-
DRIVEN AXLE
Correct toe-in of front wheels is 3 to 9
mm at tractor with non-driven axle.
Check and eventually adjust the play of
front
wheel
bearings
before
toe-in
checking. Inflate tires to the prescribed
pressure.
Front
wheel
toe-in
is
measured on sides of tires. The toe-in
"S" is calculated as a difference of
measured values: S = B ' A (or S = b -
a).
FRONT WHEEL TOE-IN AT DRIVEN
AXLE
Correct toe-in of front wheels is 0 up to 2
mm at tractor with driving axle. Front
wheel toe-in is measured on front wheel
hubs
(if assembled wheels the wheel
toe-in can be measured on rims).
