6.3.2.2 Menu Commands
Browsing through the Setup Tool, you will notice that some menus have special command options, such as
DELETE, SAVE and CANCEL. The meaning of the commands is explained below:

Note
To save the configuration to the flash memory, you must leave the Setup Tool in Save as boot config-
uration and exit mode.
APR222ac
Meaning
Jumps to the next field menu.
Opens a sub-menu or activates a command (e.g. SAVE).
Goes to the next or previous field in the menu (works with VT 100 emulation when
using a terminal program).
Shows next and previous field values (works with VT 100 emulation when using a
terminal program).
Esc twice in succession: Returns to the previous menu. Changes are lost.
Selects list entries to be deleted. The selected entries are marked with a D. Press-
ing Space again removes the selection. Selects possible variable values (same as
arrow keys).
Updates display.
Jumps to the next field in the menu.
Jumps to the previous field in the menu.
Scrolls down in a list that cannot be displayed in full. A "-" sign at the bottom-right
corner indicates the list has come to an end, while a "v" symbol indicates there is
more to come.
Scrolls up in a list that cannot be displayed in full. A "-" sign at the top-right corner
indicates the start of the list and a " ^ " symbol indicates there is more to come.
Exits the Setup Tool.
Meaning
Adds a new item to a list. A sub-menu opens, allowing you to enter the desired
settings.
Deletes all changes in the menu just displayed.
Deletes, from a list, all entries selected with the Space bar. These changes be-
come effective immediately.
Confirms the changes in the current menu. These changes become effective
when SAVE is pressed in the next menu.
Saves all current menu entries and all the sub-menus in the working memory.
These changes become effective immediately.
Leaves the current menu and returns to the main menu. Any entries made are
lost.
