Wireless Proximity Switches / Issue: 09.2004
The product range of wireless proximity switches includes flush mountable as well as non
flush mountable sensor heads. Flush mountable sensor heads can be mounted in the
machine in a way that they are particularly well protected against mechanical damages.
Compared with that, the non flush mountable sensor heads have a significant higher
switching distance. However, their plastic cap has to stand out of the metal environment as
shown in the figure.

In order to avoid mutual influences, sensor heads of the same type have to be mounted as
shown in the figure, considering the minimum clearances.
