The wrong emulation is
selected.
The wrong printer has been
selected by your
application program or
system software.
The computer system
software is not set up
properly for the printer or
for the type of interface
cable that you are using.
The interface cable is
incorrectly connected, or
damaged.

Check the emulation
selection (see Selecting
which emulation to use on
page 46 of Chapter 4), and
change it if necessary.
