n Only operate the appliance when the waste container, drip tray and cup
grate are fitted.
n Avoid contact with moving parts such as the grinder.
n Protect the coffee machine against the effects of weather such as frost
and direct sunlight.
n In order to assume a fault free operation, the ambient temperature should
be between 8 c°℃and 40 c°.
n NOTE: When the appliance has cooled under 0 c°℃ the appliance temperature
must reach an area within the ambient before switching on the appliance
once again.
n Always fill the water reservoir first, then plug the supply cord into the
wall.
n Never use the appliance without water in it.
n Only use fresh cold water in the water reservoir, do not use any other
liquid or add any other ingredients.
n Do not fill the water tank above the maximum mark (1.25 litres).
n Do not use any coffee beans treated with additives or caramelised coffee
beans.
n Do not leave the supply cord hanging over the edge of a kitchen table or
worktop.
n Do not allow the supply cord to come into contact with sources of heat.
n Do not place the appliance on or near a hot gas or electric burner or place
in a heated oven.
n Periodically check all parts before use. If any part is damaged DO NOT USE.
n To avoid injury or possible fire, do not cover the appliance when in use.
n To protect against fire, electric shock or personal injury, do not immerse the
cord, plug or appliance in water or other liquids or place in a dishwasher.
n Do not clean the coffee machine or accessories in a dishwasher.
n Avoid direct contact with the skin when the appliance is conducting a hot
rinse, cleaning cycle and descaling cycle.
n Do not touch the coffee nozzles as they may be hot.
n Allow to cool before putting on or taking off parts and before cleaning
the appliance.
n Always switch the appliance off and then remove the plug from the power
outlet when the appliance is not being used and before cleaning.
