Troubleshooting
Problem
The hob switches off
unexpectedly. You will
hear a signal, and an
error message (usually
a blinking timer display)
will appear in the sensor
field.
If these tips were not helpful, please contact our Service department (see "Service depart-
ment" on page GB-27).

Wrong mains voltage.

One of the heat sensors in the glass

ceramic hob measures excessive tem-
perature.
Overheating electronics.

Temperature sensor error.

Connection error between display and

Possible solutions / tips
Technical error. Make a note of the error message on the sensor field,
disconnect the hob from the power supply and contact our Service
department (see "Service department" on page GB-27).

Disconnect the hob from the power
supply and check that the mains volt-
age is correct. Only switch the power
supply back on when the mains voltage
is again normal
Wait until the hob has cooled down.
Inspect the cookware. Then switch the
appliance back on again.
