Troubleshooting
Problem
The cookware does
not heat up and the
message " " appears on
the display.
The hob switches off
unexpectedly. You will
hear a signal tone and
an error message will
appear in the sensor
field.

Wrong mains voltage.
E3 / E4
One of the heat sensors in the glass
ceramic hob measures excessive
temperature.
Incorrect cookware.
E5 / E6
Overheating electronics.
F3–F8
Defective temperature sensor.
F9–FA
Defective temperature sensor.
Possible solutions/tips
The cookware is not recognised because it is not suitable for
induction hobs. Select suitable cookware (see "The right cookware"
on page EN-12).
The induction hob does not recognise the cookware because it is
too small for the selected cooking zone/area or because it is not
centred on the cooking zone/area.
Technical error. Make a note of the error message on the sensor
field, disconnect the hob from the power supply and contact our
service center (see "Service" on page EN-29).
Possible solutions/tips
Disconnect the hob from the power
supply and check that the mains
voltage is correct. Only switch the
power supply back on when the mains
voltage is normal
Wait until the hob has cooled down.
Inspect the cookware. Then switch the
appliance back on again.
Wait until the hob has cooled down.
Then switch it back on again.
