2. Contrast Enhancement
The offset and gain features can be used to maximize the use of the output dynamic range.
Typical use is to subtract the minimum pixel value expected and then gain up to the
maximum pixel value to approach full scale. This process may be useful for applications that
process the RGB colors individually.
Offset
1. Single value added to each pixel
2. Range -256 to +255.9375 DN
3. Positive values may be used to measure dark noise
Gain
1. Fixed point digital multiplier applied to each pixel
2. Range 1x to 3.999x

Flat Field
Off – Flat field correction coefficients are not applied.

Basic – Direct calculation of coefficients based on
current average line values and target.
After calibration all pixels will be scaled to output to
the average pixel value across the line
Number of lines to average when calibrating
0 or 63
Save average line (of "flatfieldCalibrationSampleSize"
rows). This is the first user correction applied – it is
subtracted from each line.
1. This feature may not be of use to many users as the
camera already subtracts true "dark current", but it
may be useful for some to provide a per pixel offset
correction.
