Connecting the HP E3472A/73A Emulator to the target system
Check that the emulator and the target system are OFF.

Remove the processor from the target system.

Connect the QFP cable to the emulation probe.

Connect the QFP cable so that pin 1 of the QFP cable is inserted into

pin 1 of the QFP socket/adapter on the target system (see Figure 5-1).
Switch on the target system; then switch on the emulator.
