on page 33 illustrates the location of the power switches, and
the specific order to follow when powering on the StorNext M330
system components.
Note: Before continuing, verify that all power switches on every
component are in the OFF position.
1 Turn on both power switches on the back of the Metadata Array.
Note: Before powering up the MDC Nodes, make sure that the
Metadata Array drive LEDs are all green, and the seven-
segment display on the Metadata Array indicates "85". This
indicates that the Metadata Array is ready for I/O. The
system is then ready for powering up the MDC Nodes.
2 Turn on the power switch on the front of each of the MDC Nodes.
