This chapter provides specifications for the QS1200 and QS2400 systems.

QS1200 and QS2400 Base System Components

The QS1200 and QS2400 base systems use high-density SAS 2.0 (6-Gb/s) drive enclosure available in a
rack-mount model. The QS1200 system has a capacity of twelve 3.5-in. SAS drives. The QS2400
system has a capacity of twenty-four 2.5-in. SAS drives.
The QS1200 and QS2400 base systems and expansion units provide high-capacity disk storage for
Fibre Channel, Infiniband, SAS and iSCSI environments, depending on the choice of the host interface
card.
